Wet-strengthened, fast filtration, smooth. Wet-strengthened analytical filter papers are manufactured from refined pulp and linters and feature a content of a-cellulose of more than 95 %. The smooth surface of these papers allows fibre-free filtration. They feature a high wet strength and can also be used in the filtration of strongly alka- line or strongly acidic solutions. Due to their high mechanical strength in wet condition they are particularly suited for applications, where the residue is removed from the filter e.g. with a spatula or a jet of water.
