Qualitative Paper Filters are pure filter papers made of almost 100 % alpha cellulose and are primarely used for clearing and retention of particles for further analysis of the filtrate. Typically ash conten app. 0.06%. Quantitative Paper Filters are made of 100 % alpha cellulose, double acid washed and neutralized. These filters have a very low content of ash, app. 0.01 %. Used for gravimetric analysis and prior to analysis with instruments. Technical Paper Filters made of cotton cellulose or chemical treated pulp or a mix of both. Used for less critical analysis and in the industry. FOOD SAFE FILTERS Filter papers are available in many different standard sizes, both circles and squares. Special cuts available on request.
