Polycarbonate membranes have sharply defined pore sizes, high flow rates, and excellent chemical and thermal resistance. The membranes have a smooth flat surface for good visibilit of particles. Low protein binding and low extractables ensuring no sample contamination High chemical resistance and good thermal stability for a wide range of samples Low, consistent ash and tare weights. MontaMil Plus (PCB and PCC) has more pores than the other types. No. PCC047020 is recommended for enumeration of Legionella acc. EN ISO 11731:2017 and PCX047040 is sertified for AOX analysis. Note: Black membranes, type PCB, do not resist all types of immersion oil. It is advised to test before use. E.g. Cargille immersion oil Type-A will work.
