Borosilicate Type I Glass 6ml Shorty Vial® in Lab File®, with 15-425 Solid Black Phenolic 14B Rubber Lined Cap Attached, Clear (Case of 200)
Sample Vials in Lab File are packaged in corrugated trays with partitions. Clear vials are manufactured from Wheaton 33 low extractable borosilicate glass that conforms to ASTM Type I, Class A and USP Type I requirements, and amber vials are manufactured from Wheaton 320 glass that conforms to USP Type I requirements to protect light-sensitive samples. Shorty Vials feature a low profile for greater stability and less dead volume above the sample, making it ideal for compound storage. Catalog numbers 225012, 225014 have a white marking area for sample identification. Black phenolic screw caps are attached to vials. It is suggested to use 14B rubber lined caps for aqueous samples, and PTFE faced 14B rubber lined caps for organic samples. Vials and caps are autoclavable. Replacement caps can be purchased separately. 2 mL vials fit the M-T Vial File, 228778. 4 mL vials fit the M-T Vial File, 228780.
